Thanksgiving

This year I think that I am most thankful for family. Mitch and I continually say how blessed we are that both of us have such great families. Neither of our families are perfect but we both have great relationships with our parents and siblings. My sister Wendy lives here close and we do just about everything together. It's so fun because our kids are the same age and play good together most of time. Mitch has two brothers that live close and we spend a lot of time with them too. We love all our family and couldn't ask for anything more. Oh, not to mention our beautiful children that we love so much and wonder sometimes why we are so blessed.

One day while I was doing Alexa's hair she was playing with the Q-tips and she kept on saying, "I'm an elephant, I'm an elephant." I looked at her and laughed. This is what she looked like....

Christmas Lights - Daddy's little helpers

It's finally freezing cold in Rexburg. Well I said that like I was waiting for it to get cold. Not really. I enjoyed fall and I love the Christmas season and, I guess, the cold wintery weather that comes with it. I wish it would just snow more. The kids helped Mitch put up our Christmas lights outside and it was cold enough that they need all their winter clothes but the snow pants. We now have a skiff of snow on the ground. Hopefully we will get more in the next few days.

Halloween 2007

I think that Tanner makes the cutest little skeleton, but of course he had no idea that he was even a skeleton or what Halloween really was, but he sure enjoyed the candy. Well just the little suckers. He LOVES them, and if you take it from him – He screams. Yes, just like taking candy from a baby. Next to him are some of the pumpkins we decorated for Halloween. The witch-pumpkin is Alexa's creation.

Lexie was a vampiress. She didn't like wearing the collar so she just wore the cute little black and red dress. She was also so excited for Halloween to actually come. I had dressed up two other times for Bunco and our dinner club earlier in the month and she kept asking mom, "Can I go to Halloween." She finally got to dress up once for dance and then when we went to a carnival with some friends and once on Halloween.

We love having our cousins close.

This is Mitch and I the night of our Dinner Club Halloween Party. I stayed to help clean up and Mitch went to pick up the Kids and grandma Johnsons and Alexa would not go to Mitch because his face was painted and his hair was black. He had to wash his hair and face before she finally decided it was okay to go home with dad/Dracula. Tanner was asleep so he didn't care. On the way to pick me back up Mitch told Alexa that moms face was painted too. She said she didn't want to see me and once they pulled into Wendy's drive way she closed her eyes and kept them closed the whole way home.
